Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Oakland for the second Women’s March on Saturday, the anniversary of President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Oakland police estimated the crowd to be between 40,000 and 50,000 as of about 3 p.m., short of last year’s 100,000, but still one of the largest demonstrations in Oakland’s history. Just as in last year’s march, this year’s Women’s March featured thousands of creative signs, colorful costumes, and hours of dancing.
